FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Special Walt Winston Statement!Walt Winston is not involved in lawsuit against The City Of St. LouisJanuary 22, 2010 -- LEBANON-MO. Folk musician, Walt Winston is apparently involved in a case of mistaken identity. "I was made aware of a lawsuit in my hometown of St. Louis with plaintiffs of which one of them was named Walter Winston." "I can assure my fans back home that, I am not the Walter Winston, in question, who along with 14 other plaintiffs including a plaintiff named Michael Moore who are involved in a lawsuit against the City of St. Louis." "I'm not even sure that the plaintiff named Michael Moore, who is the ultra-liberal film director is the same Michael Moore or not either." "All I know at this point is that someone named Walter Winston, who is not yours truly, is involved with these other plaintiffs in a lawsuit about North St. Louis and handbills on cars." "I had an uncle who proudly served in the St. Louis Police Department for many years and the officers I knew are some of my best friends and I would never sue the department as these officers are St. Louis' finest." "I also feel that if this mess isn't cleared, I just may file a lawsuit against the ACLU for damaging my good name and reputation here if this is indeed the case." "I've contacted the ACLU to clear this up and no one from the ACLU was able to work with me and clear this matter in which I am not involved." "This to me is definitely a case of mistaken identity, so if you're curious about the lawsuit I found it on Google after a few of my fans told me about this lawsuit."For More Information Contact: Walteria Records |
